Three days of heli skiing on southern Baikal
Hamar-Daban Mountain System
Khamar-Daban is a mountain range located south of Lake Baikal. It meets the maximum amount of precipitation at the beginning of winter, while ice does not skim the clear waters of the lake.
What awaits you?
Under favorable weather conditions, we will make 8 - 12 descents a day.
We will fly to the purest and purest snow on modern European Eurocopter EC130 T2 or AS350B3 helicopters.
Complete safety and comfort will be provided by a team of professionals of the Association of Mountain Guides of Russia.

Day 1
Arrival in Irkutsk, 3-hour transfer to the base. Accommodation, acquaintance with guides, security briefing. In good weather, skiing after lunch.
Day 2
Day of skiing. We enjoy the views of Lake Baikal, the surrounding peaks of the Khamar-Daban ridge and the dry Siberian snow.
Day 3
Heli-ski. After skiing, transfer to Irkutsk with accommodation in a 3* hotel in the city center. The morning departure is on Monday.

Our base is located right on the shore of Lake Baikal, a ten-minutes flight from the ski area. These are several new lake-oriented comfortable cottages.

A Russian bath will help you to recover and relax.
The helipad is located right on the territory of the base: we will allocate time as efficiently as possible.

HELISKIING SEASON
How do I book a seat?
To reserve a place in the group, you have to pay 50% of the price of the program. The rest of the amount is paid no later than three months before the start of the program.
Booking and Refund Policy

In case the group does not use up the flight time
If the group has not used up flight time due to non-flying weather, we make a refund at the rate of 180.000 RUR for 1 flight hour per group. Billing per minute. Such a refund is not possible at the early termination of the program on the initiative of the client.
In what cases is a refund made?
We guarantee a 100% refund or transfer of the program to other dates in case of force majeure. These include natural disasters, civil unrest, epidemics, decisions of public authorities that make it impossible to carry out our program.
No penalty is provided if the participant who abandoned the program found a replacement.

In which cases a refund is not made?
Refunds are not made due to the inability to ride for the following reasons:
— illness or injury received both before and during the program;
— inability to ride due to fatigue;
— unwillingness or impossibility for the client to ride due to bad weather conditions or heavy snow conditions (provided that safe riding is possible on this day).

When activating the ABS system
When activating the ABS system outside of the avalanche threat situation, payment: 10.000 RUR.
Suspension from skating
By the decision of the guide, a participant may be suspended from skating if the level of his technical or physical fitness does not match the level of the other members of the group – the participant significantly "slows down" the group, creates a danger for himself or other members of the group. In this case, the organizing company does not make any compensation.
