I ski for 32 years by now. The last 17 years mainly off pistes. Since 2003 I worked as a skiing and snowboard instructor. In a couple of years I became a ski guide and now have more than 10 years of experience. In May 2015 I was one of the “pioneers” to have passed the skiing guide exam and obtained a skiing guide certificate set by the Russian Mountain Guide Association. The education and certification were done according to the international standards.

First time I tried skiing when I was 4. At that time I was sharpening my carving skills on the steep slopes of the Oka river. I arrived to the big mountains in 2005 and by chance instantly became entangled in the heli-ski industry. Since 2013 I work for the avalanche department (Rosa Khutor) and parallel to that I organize various programs where I teach off-piste riding, freeride, skitour, heli-skiing in different regions of Russia and abroad. In 2015 I passed the skiing guide exam set by the Russian Mountain Guide Association and obtained a skiing guide certificate.

Professionally I’m a submariner. I can steer and operate a nuclear submarine. Yet, this profession is far in the past. For the last 20 years I have been skiing, mainly offpistes. I work as a heli-ski guide since 2005. Started my career by working in a French company “Yak&Yeti”, later became head of a French-Russian heli-skiing company “RossHeliski”.
